A Christmas Story is a 1983 American Christmas parody movie coordinated by Bob Clark and in light of Jean Shepherd’s semi-fictitious accounts in his 1966 book In God We Trust: All Others Pay Cash, for certain components from his 1971 book Wanda Hickey’s Night of Golden Memories and Other Disasters. It stars Melinda Dillon, Darren McGavin, and Peter Billingsley and is an occasional exemplary in North America. It has been displayed in a long distance race yearly on TNT starting around 1997 and on TBS beginning around 2004 named “24 Hours of A Christmas Story”, comprising of 12 back to back airings of the film from the evening of Christmas Eve to the evening of Christmas Day every year
